A young woman walks into a used car dealership looking for an economical functioning car. Her hair full of life, eyes white as snow and the smell of her perfume divine. She starts to glance at one of the cars, slightly bending over, overseeing in the reflection of one of the windows, a salesman approaching. “Can I help you miss?” the salesman asks, she turns around smiling “why yes, I would love to take this car out for a test drive”. Seeing her beauty, the salesman heart starts to pound “That’s a very good choice I…I will be right back to with the keys”. The salesman starts to step away smiling with her running into a chair while attempting to walk away. She walks over to the driver’s side of the car and waits. The salesman walks swiftly back to her “ready to go Miss?” she replies “why, yes I am. My name is Ashley by the way”. Handing her the keys smiling “I’m Tom, it’s nice to meet you”.
After taking the vehicle for a test drive they return. Ashley gets out of the car seeming pleased with it. Tom steps out walking towards the young woman “well Ashley, what do you think? Are you interested in buying it?” Ashley starts to feel anxious and excited “Yes I am”. Tom smiles as he escorts Ashley into the dealership. Tom being such a gentleman pulls a chair out for Ashley to sit in “Please have a seat Ashley and I will get all the paperwork started for you”, “thank you” Ashley replies. Ashley sits and waits for Tom to finish getting all the paperwork together. She waits and waits some more…A few hours go by and Tom finally returns with all the paperwork ready to sign. Ashley is displeased with the length of time having to wait. She doesn’t say anything to Tom about the long wait because she really wants the car.
After signing the paperwork, Ashley drives the car home. A couple of rain storms later Ashley walks out to her car to leave for work. Just before she opens the door she sees a small paint chip falling off her car. Confused and concerned Ashley bends down to look at the paint chip. As she goes to touch the paint her finger goes right through the paint and inner material of the car. Ashley is startled by what she has discovered. She pulls her finger back out and sees that she now has a hole in her car. Agitated she calls around to find a mechanic and notifying her work that she is running late. After some time, Ashley finds a nearby mechanic without thinking twice she gets in her car and drives to the mechanic’s shop.
Upon arriving at the mechanic’s shop, her car starts to make a loud whistling noise making her angry. The mechanic runs to her aid “What’s wrong Ashley?” Ashley gets out of the car, slamming the door shut “I am so mad right now! What is going on with my car?!”
The mechanic crawls under the car and starts to notice what the problem is and makes a gruesome discovery in the process. “Well, I found your problem you have a small hole in your muffler that looks like it had been patched in the past but not very well,” says the mechanic. The mechanic then looks at the hole on the driver’s side of the car discovering that a putty material has been used to repair the vehicle from previous damage. In shock, Ashley looks at the mechanic “I haven’t had any work done to this car since I got it”, the mechanic replies “when did you get this car?” Ashley becoming very angry replies “I haven’t even had it that long!”
The mechanic shakes his head as he shrugs his shoulders “I hate to tell you this but that is not your only problem and I’m surprised something else hasn’t happened yet” the young woman replies “Well?! What is it?” “You have cracked frame and someone has tried to weld it back together,” says the mechanic. She is outraged by what she is hearing and starts asking all kinds of questions to better understand what that means. “A cracked frame what exactly does that mean?!” “That means when it comes time for your annual inspection on this car, you won’t be able to drive it anymore. Where or whoever sold you this car should not have sold this to you. If I was inspecting your car right now I would have to fail you” says the mechanic. Ashley thanks the mechanic for his time and drives the car away.
